Westinghouse Lighting Announces Director of Sales to Spearhead Retail Efforts  Philadelphia, Pa. (June 2011) – Westinghouse Lighting announces the promotion of National Business Development Manager, Canaan Lawrence, to Director of Sales - Retail. In his new role Mr. Lawrence will build the company’s relationships with customers, manage day-to-day customer needs, create and maximize opportunities in the retail market. He will focus on developing channel-specific customer strategies and further expand the Westinghouse brand through programs, services, and lighting solutions designed for customers. “With an extensive background in the retail channel, Canaan’s knowledge and experience are invaluable to both our sales efforts in this market and to ensuring our customers receive the products and services they need and want to make their businesses successful,” said Jeff Bristol, Sr. Director of Sales, Westinghouse Lighting. “As we continue to develop business opportunities in the retail segment, Canaan will lead our sales team and remain at the forefront of our strategies’ planning and implementation.” Over his five-year career with Westinghouse Lighting, Mr. Lawrence’s responsibilities included managing the company’s hardware co-op business, the major accounts sales management team, and business development for the US retail market. Prior to Westinghouse, his career achievements included inventory management and purchasing positions with Ace Hardware Corporation as well as other national account management roles in the DIY market segment.
